Painless Injection

PAIN-FREE INJECTION IS HERE!

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce a giant leap in the world of dental anesthesia.... the pain-free injection! This revolutionary new product, OnSet, is now available exclusively in our practice. Dr.Kim is one of the first dentists worldwide to offer this product and we are very excited to be able to offer this service to our patients!

We know dental injections are a source of anxiety for many patients, imagine receiving an injection without the common "bee sting" effect (caused by the anesthetic's acidity, which does not match the body's ph levels) using a patented, revolutionary device, we are now able to combine, or "buffer" the anesthetic with sodium bicarbonate the main ingredient found in baking soda. This buffered anesthetic, strikes the perfect ph balance in the body, resulting in pain free injections!

In addition, with OnSet, numbness occurs almost immediately, resulting in shorter dental appointments. Your comfort is always our first priority, experience OnSet for yourself and please share this exciting news with your family and friends.

Yours in good health,

Dr. Taylor Kim DDS and staff

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why did the injection sting before and now it doesn't?

We are able with a revolutionary new device to "buffer" anesthetic with sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). The Sodium bicarbonate neutralizes the aesthetic to match the ph in your body. The sting was caused by the acidity of the anesthetic. It can be compared with putting lemon juice on a cut on your finger. The neutralized anesthetic provides you with a pain-free injection.

2. Why do I become so numb so quickly?

Once again, it's because of the buffering process. When the anesthetic matches the ph level of your body, it doesn't have to work so hard at neutralizing it. You will become numb almost immediately and the best news for you... shorter appointments!

3. Sometimes I'm sore after an injection. Will this help with soreness?

In studies using buffered anesthetic, post injection soreness and the rare incidence of tissue trauma has been greatly reduced.

4. Is there an additional charge for this special injection?

No, there is no additional charge to you. And yes, although this new system is "special", all injections in our practice will be given with buffered anesthetic. Your comfort is our first priority.
